The NBA: Where Happiness Happens

Baseball is my favorite sport. Unfortunately and sadly, America's team, the Boston Red Sox, did not advance to or win the World Series. That can only mean one thing, the NBA season is about to commence. I get so excited at the beginning of the NBA Season. This season is no different. My excitement seems to be even greater than normal this year. The many story lines that flood the NBA are what I will be watching for as the season tips off and progresses along. The stories I will be watching for this NBA season (in order of importance):

1. The Lakers. I am not playing favorites... who am I kidding of course I am. Kobe, Pau, Lamar, Mr. Artest, and Adam Morrison. Are you kidding? The Lake Show is going to be so fun. Kobe is as eager as ever to get his fifth, one closer to MJ. Morrison is looking to play. Ron Ron wants is physical presence felt. Amazing is all I can say.

2. Kevin Durant. This kid is absolutely sick. If he only played better defense (try asking Carlos Boozer for some advice) he would be MVP. He can shoot from anywhere, and when I say anywhere I do mean anywhere on the court he wants. He was raised to play on the hardwood. With him and his fellow young teammates, the Thunder are going to be fun to watch.

3. San Antonio. Mr. Tim Duncun is still the Big Fundamental. He doesn't have many years left, he wants another ring. With his supporting cast, they are one of if not the favorites to take it all. Jefferson is going to have a monster year and provide relief from Duncan, Parker, and good old Manu.

4. D Wade. He is so good. He is getting stronger and faster and will put up sick numbers this year. MVP race is going to be fun to watch.

5. Ricky Rubio. The Minnesota Timberwolves have the Spanish wizard and Mr Flynn in the backco..... oh wait, never mind.

6. AI. What will the Answer be this year?

The list could continue forever. Please enjoy the season. My take: Lakers over Celtics in 6.
