missoula, montana, home to the c'mon inn was the setting. family reunion was the plot. fun was the theme.
when i got off work saturday morning (about 5:30) my dad and i headed to missoula (about 6:40) to meet up with my mom and other family members from my grandma's side of the family. i did sleep on the way there which made me a little less tired when we actually got there. we always stay at the c'mon inn which has 6 hot tubs outside the rooms besides the one that is in by the pool. i did the hot tubs a favor though and stayed out of them. when we arrived we greeted with those we hadn't seen for a while and kind of sat and chatted for a little. we were rudely interruped by my mother playing right round by flo rida extremely loud while she was getting ready for the day. i forgave her for this and her and i snuck out to get some breakfeast. being the little eater that i am i only ordered 3 scrammbled eggs, hashbrowns, biscuts and gravy, roasted apples, grits, and a steak. i also had to finish off my mom's wheat toast, i am not going to let that go bad. we enjoyed this meal at crackerbarrel, there is one right next to our hotel. when we got back we chatted for a little bit longer, took our family photos, i dominated my grandma and ping pong and then some of them decided to hit up the fabric stores near by. while they did this the rest of us stayed and played cards. i was introduced to a new game, called "golf." it was really fun to play and shawn (my second cousin i believe) ended up creaming everyone in the end, it wasn't even close. it is like he was tiger woods (except for this weekend) and everybody else was some other golfer. after the game we all headed out to famous dave's for some good barbeque eatin. my parents and i shared a meal that they brought out in a garbage can lid. it had ribs, chicken, pork, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and baked beans. it was pretty good. i also was givin the awful task of finishing off my cousin andrew's ribs. i then went outside with my little cousins (although they aren't as little as they used to be) cecilia, andrew, and lexee. we played a good old fashion game of eye spy. we then said our goodbyes, gave hugs, shed tears and parted ways. it was a great family reunion even though i was only able to spend less than a day there. as we left we decided we must take advantage of the no tax in montana and got myself a couple pairs of jeans and shirts at old navy (well, angie got them for me, please don't tell pat.) another year, another family reunion, another good time with those we love and don't get to see all that often.
Sounds like a fun reunion. Jesse, you are the bomb.
