Pizza, Hot Dog, Coke

America is known as the great melting pot; a place where many people from various cultures come seeking to find and live "The American Dream." What defines America besides this notion of the melting pot? American food. At the heart and epicenter of American food are three things: Pizza, Hot Dogs, and Coke. These items create instant excitement for the soul. One of my favorite places to enjoy these three culinary masterpieces is at Costco. For under $4.00, a slice of pizza (either cheese, pepperoni, or combination), a hot dog (with all the works: ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, and sour kraut), and a crisp Coca Cola classic are available. Yesterday, my roommate Sam and I had the obligation to go and partake of this All-American Meal. Before doing so, we purchased a couple of essential items. As we waited in line to pay and then go and eat, a man, around the age of 50 or so, approached me. He unbashfully made his way towards me and just stared. Not knowing what to say, I just stood there, patiently. His mouth opened. "Oh you look just like someone I know, you look so familiar." I had never seen the man before. But learning from prior experience, I knew I had to talk to the man and didn't ignore him. I could only manage to say one thing. "I am and Abercrombie model, maybe you have seen me in one of their magazines." He said that was a possibility and then asked if my last name was Green. I assured him it was not and then, after staring at me a little longer, he left. Sam and I laughed about this experience while enjoying our pizza, hot dog, and coke.

  2. I am glad you have been updating your blog, it makes my job easier. Also, I have been spent the past hour or so reading blog entries of yours that I like to my roommates and my "sister" here in NZ. We are all laughing extremely hard and so I proceeded to show you to them on FB. Just know, Jesse Edward Croskrey, you are loved in NZ.
